Art is a key element in Chris Krupinski's life. She has been drawing and painting all of her life, but discovered watercolors in the mid-1980s and has had a passion for the medium ever since.

Chris's art career has achieved a tremendous following on the national and international level as a brilliant watercolorist. Well credentialed, her paintings continually draw rave reviews for her fine art work, winning nearly 100 national awards and honors. Chris is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, Rocky Mountain Watercolor Society, Allied Artists, and the American Artist's Professional League, to name a few. She has been published in major watercolor publications and has been a featured artist in numerous leading national art magazines. She is consistently included in Marquis' Who's Who Internationally, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who Among American Women.

Cheng-Khee Chee selected Chris as one of his "master painters" for the important Invitational Exhibition of Contemporary International Watermedia Masters, November 2007 in Nanjing, China.

Her watercolors are hung in several corporate collections and are cherished additions to the finest of private collections.

Chris's watercolors are created with special consideration to detail. By focusing much of her attention to the smallest detail, the viewer is drawn into the intricacies of her work. Dynamic light and shadow treatments are prominent statements in her paintings. The play of lights and darks develop effective abstract design. Emphasizing these two elements has enabled her to create powerfully expressive still lifes and bold compositions.
